In May the company returned from its third visit to Ukraine. We attended a hackaton with the 3rd Assault Brigade arranged by European Defense Tech, AB3 TECH and Women in Defense Tech. For a few days we left the medical technology space and focused our attention to counter the threat of fiber optic UAS. Together with specialists from around Europe we engaged in rapid prototyping and proof-of-concepting, a revisit to a bygone era with our own tourniquet system. We found it inspiring to be a part of these efforts, working as a community to solve a wide array of problems. It is also enouraging to see so many visitors from other European countries contributing. As always the hospitality of Ukraine is unmatched.
After Lviv our trip brought us to Kyiv, back to the world of trauma medicine and our own sector. Our company has made an effort to contribute to the tourniquet product category to the best of our abilities, which continues to be highly relevant. We are happy that the main goal of our trip was a success in this regard and we hope that our small contribution, combined with the efforts we witnessed may have a positive effect.
